Huntsville Police Charge 2 Teens in 3 Murders

Two Huntsville teenagers already charged with capital murder in the killing of a gas station clerk have been charged in a separate shooting that left two men dead in a crashed vehicle. Police spokesman Wendell Johnson says 17-year-old Jarrad Pearsall and 18-year-old James Antoine Williams remain in the Madison Country jail without bond.
The two were arrested in September in the robbery-slaying of 54-year-old Melvin Frazier Lovette. A customer found Lovette, a clerk at a Conoco gas station, shot shortly after the March 11th robbery.
Yesterday, Pearsall and Williams were charged in the April 28th shooting deaths of 45-year-old Silviano Hernandez, and 27-year-old Lorenso Perez, both of Mexico.
Hernandez and Perez were traveling west on Cobb Road in Huntsville when several shots were fired into their vehicle. They swerved off the road and crashed into a home and were found dead in their 1996 Nissan Pathfinder about 3:45 a.m.
Johnson said investigators are not releasing suspected motives in the shootings.
